POLICIES

Posh Ink Permanent Cosmetics, LLC is a privately owned and operated company dedicated to providing excellent client service and care. All services are performed according to industry standards. All sanitation processes meet and/ or exceed industry health and safety requirements established by the Ohio Board of Health, EPA, and CDC. 

All client personal information is strictly maintained and kept confidential. 

We respectfully ask that all clients read and follow the policy guidelines listed below.  

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to book / secure an appointment. Deposit amount will be deducted from your balance upon completion of your service.

Balance

Payment is due immediately following completed procedure. We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Applepay, Venmo, and cash.

Guests

We do not allow children or anybody under the age of 18 in the studio for safety purposes.  Guests are welcome with prior notice/ approval, but . . .  Cosmetic tattoo services require a great deal of precision and focus. Its important that we maintain an environment that allows us to dedicate our full attention to each client. We provide completely private, one-on-one sessions to facilitate the most comfortable client experience. Attending guests will be asked to wait in the lounge area while services are performed. For these reasons, we kindly ask you to consider arriving to your appointment alone.

Reschedule / Cancel

Your appointments and well-being are important to us. We understand that sometimes unexpected delays and emergencies can occur; If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 72 hours notice. All appointment cancelling and rescheduling that is done within 72 hours of your appointment, will result in deposit forfeiture. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without forfeiture of your deposit via call, text, or e-mail, at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

* In the event of a truly unavoidable emergency, all or part of your deposit may be applied to future services, at our discretion.

Late Arrival

Due to the amount of time necessary to complete services, If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we might not be able to accommodate you; This will result in the appointment being cancelled and deposit forfeiture.

No Call/ No Show

We respect and value your time and business. We kindly ask that you respect our time and scheduling policies. Missing an appointment without notice will result in loss of your deposit. We will require payment in full (due at booking) for any appointments scheduled afterwards.

Touch Up

Touch up appointments are necessary after the initial procedure to: Assess the healed results, Replace any pigment lost during the primary healing phase, Balance out any areas that healed patchy or uneven and reinforce the color, and to make any modifications to the shape and or color. We strongly recommend scheduling a touch up appointment after your initial procedure, as soon as possible to achieve optimal, lasting results.
* Failure to properly follow after care instructions after the initial service, may result in the need for multiple touch ups.

Touch Up Fee

The cost of the first touch up is not included in the initial service. Touch Ups require the same inventory/ supplies as the initial procedure. Touch Ups are required to be completed within six months of the initial service; Appointments made after six months will be considered, scheduled, and billed as "Refresher Appointments," and the discounted touch up option will be forfeited.

Refresher Vs Touch Up

The Refresher appointment is an optional  maintenance appointment and does not require a Touch Up appointment afterwards. The purpose of this appointment is to refresh your Permanent Makeup. Permanent makeup is designed to fade gracefully and age well. I recommend scheduling a Refresher appointment every 1-2 years. If you wait until it fades completely and/ or the design needs redrawn the cost will be the full service price.
* If a client does choose to come back for a Touch Up after the Refresher appointment, They are required to pay the Touch Up fee.*
** Refresher fee is not included in the initial service cost.** 
*** I do not Touch Up or Refresh other artists' work; Please see the "Cover Up" policy.***

Cover Up

If you've previously had Permanent Makeup and/ or Microblading and/ or Any other cosmetic tattooing done by anybody other than us: BEFORE BOOKING please contact us via e-mail and send clear close-up pictures of your previous work and wait for approval. Upon approval you will be required to book a "Cover Up Appointment." Some old tattoos might require removal before new tattooing can be done. Covering up another artist's work is a delicate process; Often it requires us to correct color and shape; We might require multiple Touch Ups; And though we will always try our best, we cannot guarantee perfect results when tattooing over old work.

* The cost for a cover-up appointment varies, starting at $500. Multiple Touch Up appointments might be necessary to achieve desired results without removal of previous work. Touch Up fees apply to each touch up scheduled.

Scarring & Other Medical/ Physical Conditions

Please make sure you are healthy enough to get a tattoo. Specifically, no pre-existing conditions that put you at risk for developing an infection or hinder your body's ability to heal wounds. We do not tattoo over skin lesions or moles. We do not tattoo anybody who is pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are unsure whether or not you qualify; Please contact us. In certain circumstances we may just need a medical clearance from your Doctor.
Please understand that any deformity, scarring, asymmetry and/ or abnormalities/ differences in muscles and/ or nerve functions to or near the desired treatment area, could pose a challenge in achieving perfect symmetry and/ or meeting your Permanent Makeup goals. We will pre-draw and tailor to your preferences, before any tattooing. We will provide the safest and most beneficial services to each client. We kindly ask that you come in with realistic expectations.

Results may vary depending on several factors including but not limited to: skin tone, skin type, age, pre-existing medical conditions, lifestyle, and aftercare. It is important to follow after care instructions, to achieve desired results.
