Microblading

Also called: Microstroking, nanoblading, embroidery, feather touch, eyebrow feathering, 3D eyebrow embroidery, 6D brows, hairstrokes, semi-permanent makeup, micropigmentation, and hair-like strokes.

What is microblading?

Microblading is a form of manual eyebrow tattooing utilizing a hand-held tool to deposit ink into the skin. Designed to replicate real eyebrow hair, this service is best suited for clients with some existing brow hair, who desire fuller, more defined / shapely brows.

Does microblading hurt?

I use a topical anesthetic to pre-numb your eyebrows prior to any tattooing, followed by a secondary topical anesthetic during the procedure to provide optimum comfort. Clients have reported minimal to no discomfort.

Can I get microblading?

Microblading is not recommended for individuals over 55 years of age; Those with oily skin types and/ or large pores; When eczema, shingles, rashes or other skin lesions are present near the eyebrows. If you're unsure of whether or not you're a candidate, please schedule a consultation prior to booking a microblading service.

How long does microblading last?

Microblading IS a tattoo and it IS considered permanent. Microblading generally last 1- 1.5 years before needing a maintenance touch-up "Refresher." Cosmetic tattooing (when performed properly) is designed to fade and age gracefully. Retention and longevity (of any tattoo) vary based on several factors and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Microblading requires two sessions (Initial session & Touch-up session) at least 8 weeks apart; I provide extended aftercare instructions for details on how to prevent premature fading.
